Stockholm
I kicked off the new year with a two night stay in Stockholm. We crammed so much in the two days and really felt the sense of inspiration all around. With its -10 temperatures and snowy weather we hopped into as many shops, cafes and restaurants as we could.
Already eagerly waiting for my next visit, most likely in warmer weather!

Ett Hem
A real spoiling stay but so worth it - it really felt like being in someone’s home, each space felt so inviting and loved the informality of the open kitchens. I couldn’t recommend enough!

A bright and beautifully curated hotel with an airy courtyard.

An oasis nestled between the city and the surrounding islands. Classic in it's Scandi style, it's the perfect place to enjoy a view of Stockholm's harbour.

The Public Library
If you are in the area pop into the library, the design is pretty impressive!
Skansen
It’s the oldest open air museum, showcasing houses and farmsteads from all over the country. It felt so magical; especially in the snow.
Carl Eldhs Ateljémuseum
The artists studio has been converted to a museum showcasing a large collection of plaster casts and his works.
Djurgarden
Perfect for a stroll along the waterfront - stop by one of the many cafes along the route if you're in need of an energy boost.

Among Stockholm's array of impressive museums, this contemporary photography centre stands out.

A La Carte Antik
A great vintage shop, filled with ots of kitchen crockery and linens but I did manage to find two paintings that came home with me!
Svenskt Tenn
A mega store, every detail is so considered, it was an absolute joy to look around and although many items are expensive there are small pieces that dont break the bank.
Cathy Nordström
A beautiful and welcoming showroom from the Scandi textiles brand; seeing all the textiles in person that I had been lusting over was just great.
Sjöström Antik
Antique store stocking an eclectic selection of interior objects.
Myrorna
A chain of charity shops spotted around Stockholm and well worth hunting through to find some treasures...

A stunning brasserie that’s been around since 1893. It really felt like a timeless social hub in the heart of the city.

A small and intimate restaurant at The Opera House offering traditional Swedish dishes.
Saturnus
Stop by for their famous cinnamon buns and coffees served in heartwarming bowls.
Svenskt Tenn Cafe
After having a look around their store make sure to sit down at the cafe - perfect for tired legs.
